This article is about a young lady who was assigned to a science group where aparntly only one person in the group spoke English. The girl asked to be put in an English speaking group and was arrested.
What?
Even if the girl walked up to the teacher and said "I ain't working with no damn chinks!" The punishment should have just been being sent to the dean, not calling the cops.

An update to this, the students were not "Asian" as we know them. In Brittan "Asian" means "Middle Eastern" to us. "Oriental" is what we call "Asian." So the group was full of middle eastern students. Maby the teacher fear Jihad!
In all likely hood, they where not even Muslim, and felt wierd having a student in their group they could not talk to. I know if I was in a group and a new person was assigned who we could commuincate with, what is the point of the group?
